After the Parade everyone migrates down the middle of Main Street to the city park. There you will find hundreds of booths for crafts, food, games, jewelry and so much more! We usually get hamburgers and then walk around until you feel like your legs might fall off. It's fun - I promise!
My favorite part of the day is the Dotson's Annual 4th of July BBQ. We all hang-out at my in-laws and talk and eat and have fun together as a family. This is the time when old memories are recounted and new memories are made.
Around 10pm the fireworks start up. We are so spoiled that we can watch from our OWN backyard! As we watch the fireworks we eat popcorn and have dessert.
